Date & Starting time: March 29th, 2009, 8:30 a.m.

The Route: 42.195km around the Mesinian field. Starting from the City of Messini (central square) towards Asprochoma, and through the villages of Thouria, Mikromani, Aris, Ammos, Aris, Triodos, Bouka beach and finish in Messini's central square.

Pace makers: Depending on your fitness level and the marathon time you aim for you can follow the four pace makers ( 1-3h:00, 4min:15sec/km pace, 2-3h:15min , 4min:37sec/km pace, 3-3h:30min , 4min:58sec/km pace, 4-4h:00 , 5min:41sec/km pace) and archive a personal best on the mostly flat marathon course.
